Extension dialling

Hello,

We have to configure a digital receptionist for a customer and one of their option is to dial an extension number (if the caller know the extension number, they have the option to dial it).
I think this option is enabled by default and we don't have to configure a key for it - their greeting should be "if you know the extension number you require, please dial it now, otherwise select one of the following options: 0 - we can configure an action for it, 1 - Action, etc).
Can we configure option 1 to dial an extension number? Not Connect to Extension, the caller needs to have the option to dial an extension if they know it.

The Digital Receptionist should have the below option
If you know the extension number your require, please press 1 followed by the 4 digits extension number.

It's already built-in and no need for specific keys.

Just say "if you know the extension of the person you want to reach, dial it now". No need for prefix.

If the input is 1-digits, it will be taken as a menu item. If more than that, then it's taken as an extension number and transfer is done immediately.

How exactly did you set it up? Was the Trunk/DR belonging to the correct Department? The direct dial described above does work in MCM.

This was a incorrect setup. This does indeed work. They were testing this through a call queue and not the digital receptionist
