Guys,
I am having a problem with my Cloud 3CX PBX, I have added extensions and trying to register them on softphone in windows not working, on mobile, it's working only when it is on LTE but as I switch to wifi doesn't work.
it shows Error:
Registration Time Out

I have also tried Firewall checker all is good but strange. :(

firewall checker is only going to check the network connectivity in the cloud where the 3cx server is installed. it won't tell you anything about your local clients on a wifi network

since your clients work fine on lte then i would check the wifi network firewall to make sure the appropriate ports are open (5090 tunneling port for mobile clients).

@Shawn But event through Windows Softphone its not registering?

it can't register if it can't reach the server

a simple test is to put a laptop on the same wifi network. open a command prompt and make sure a telnet client is installed. then type 'telnet fqdn3cxserver 5090' (or other port #'s that you want to test). if you get a black screen with a blinking cursor then the connection was made, otherwise it will time out

@Shawn I tried it and seems the connection is made but Same issue Softphones are not connecting through WiFi even not working in windows

How is the location, with Wifi, set up? Are you using VPN, SBC, or just a router?
Are there other sets, at this location, that do work?
Is this a new install?
If not, did it work at one point?
Have you checked the 3CX Activity Log to see if a registration attempt is seen?

check the log file on the server and run a capture during this time.
do you see the traffic trying to register?
since its working on LTE - then the settings of the extension should be ok.

Blacklisted IP perhaps? Have you tried pinging your instance from inside the network to make sure it resolves correctly and the instance is reachable?

@leejor , No its very new installation through 3cx Cloud. its Pre-Deployed by 3CX on cloud... And yeah we are connecting to internet through normal router. nothing extra is set-upped here , just normal 3 other computers are connected to internet and thats it, nothing special.

I tried again here is activity log:

@cobaltit , i have checked the IP Blacklist , it seems like there is not IP Been blocked. :(

Guys,
After setting up cloud PBX it, it is mandatory to open port 5090 in the Router, in order to setup 3cx softphone client ?

@cobaltit bro regarding IP,I checked it. nothing is being blocked from PBX . and i have also updated some parts of the logs above. may you fill find some clue from it ,

Port 5090 has to be open as this is the port used by the 3CX softphone both local and remote firewalls.

If you go into account setup within the 3cx client, can you resolve in office and out of office addresses

I would say that it is something at the Wifi end. Might be settings in the router, or local firewall. You could confirm that Wifi, on the phones/devices is working, by trying them at another location (home?). The fact it is working on LTE suggests that settings are correct at the server end, so either the registration attempt is being blocked (it's not showing in the Activity Log), or it is misdirected (DNS?). Getting a device to work over Wifi, at another location, would eliminate the devices as a suspect.

What type of router are you using at the remote site? Perhaps someone has some suggested changes to the settings.
