So I just started a new instance for a project Im supporting, and wow have things changed since I set up our system in 2019 and 2020. I was very surprised when I didnt get the "classic" layout I still have on the system I have for the law firm I support. I was even more surprised when they said my extension range started in the 4000's. I cant find any way to adjust this anymore. Is that correct? No way to go back to 001-099? (please note the system selected when this posted is my first instance, not the one I am speaking of. Not sure how to add that one).

Sounds like you’re on StartUP? That’s a bit of a different animal as it’s shared.

18u6 removed the ability to use 0xx extensions. I believe I’ve read it is allowed in the new update 7 but only from the management console not the web client.

I am... I was using it to show off for the project. If I upgrade, does that change anything?

So that's the other thing. I can find the managment console. Or the normal backend for that matter, though it looks like a lot of those features are baked into the new web client.

There’s not an upgrade path. You can use a non-StartUP license, 3CX hosted or self hosted.
Over time everything is moving to the web client but it seems it will take a while. Currently there is a mix,

Yeah I thought I was doing a 3cx hosted instance. Well crap. I might just pay for a year and be done with it. Thanks!
