I'm still using the free version of 3CX because I'm still in a testing phase. I noticed that when I updraged to 4393, I was able to see extension status in the client (but it's supposed to be a licenced feature only) and when I updraded to 4510, I was no longer able to see the extension status from the client.
Was there any particular reason why it was an available feature in 4393 even for the free users? Well, it was nice, I have been able to test that feature during this time.
