Solved Extension trouble

I am attempting to add an extension that is plugged in, working but is not available for me to edit it. I attempt to add it and I receive the below
message.

"Editing of extension is not allowed"

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

You are probably using a user that doesn't have the rights to edit the extension. If your extension is admin, you cannot edit another admin (AFAIK, may have changed in V18.)
