We’re having an issue with our current 3cx install. If I log in as admin, I can see all users, manage the system, etc. Attached is a series of screenshots from the server logged in as Admin and Ext 1651 user.

A search of 165 was performed and the results are the extensions 1650 to 1656.

The “Rights” tab in ext 1651 shows that the extension is a manager of the group Union College Phones (which contains all phones), and also is allowed access to all extensions.

When ext 1651 logs in, however, there are missing extensions.

This issue continues beyond just the 1650’s:

I have not been able to figure out a cause or a solution, but we will need one, as the admin password can not be given out to Tier 1 and Tier 2 support (and it defeats the purpose of that checkbox).

Anyone else see this?

This only just started after the update from v15.5 to v 16 (16.0.2.910)

Extensions with 'General System Administration' rights can't see other extensions with those rights. This is by design.

Hi @Union Tech

Unless you log in as the Global administrator, you will only be able to view and manage extensions that don't have any of the below rights enabled:

11700

I suppose I can see where this could be useful, but that's not how we need to operate. Is there any way at all to change this behavior? When selecting the "Manage all extensions", that seems as though it should include .... all .. extensions.. Perhaps a sub checkbox on that particular option that allows for "include other Management Console users" that could be unchecked by default.
Or at the very least a note there in the interface when checking the system management boxes that says other management extension will not be able to manage this extension?

We have many users that need to be allowed access to the console but we also need their extension to be managed by our other managers.

Thanks for the info.

Already previous posts on this V16 "admin rights" with same problem you are in. This is a very strange 3CX admin management rights, surely missing a super admin account with complete overview

Didn't know that was a problem - I'll look that up and join the thread. Thanks.

He already do :)
