Hopefully this is possible or will soon be possible. I have extension 100, when that extension is rung I want 101 and 102 to ring as well. Same goes for 101 and 102. When 101 is rung I want 100 and 102 to ring. When 102 is run I want 100 and 101 to ring.

The closest thing I have found to achieving this is setting all 3 extensions in a ringing group and forwarding each extension to that ringing group after 1 second. This does not work because the phones do not ring simultaneously.

I want to achieve a follow me type functionality similar to the older PBXs.

Please tell me I'm just overlooking a setting...

Hi @travisscott@swisherhospit,

EDIT: After re-reading your post, I'm just wondering if you're wanting internal calls going to 100, 101 or 102 to also ring the group simultaneously? The below should work for external calls coming in to the PBX.

There is an easier way - create your ring group as you mentioned, with members: 100, 101 and 102.

Go to the SIP Trunk settings and under General >> 'Route calls to' section >> Destination for calls during office hours >> Choose the extension of your ring group.

Hi @VasilisV_3CX,

We have that setup already. Just to clarify this would only be for internal calls to each of those extensions.

Hi @travisscott@swisherhospit,

Did you ensure that the ring strategy of the ring group is Ring All? I've set up the same scenario and after a 1 second delay, all 3 phones ring simultaneously when receiving an internal call.

Yes, I have that exact scenario setup. Just since the phones are in the same room it causes the irregular ring since there is a 1 second delay. I just wanted to see if there was a way to setup a simultaneous ring without a forward rule.

Hi @travisscott@swisherhospit,

If you want this rule to apply for internal and external calls, then this won't be possible using this method. If it's only for external calls, it should work as a simultaneous ring using the forward rule.
