External extention problem over 3G

Hello,

we have problem with external extensions over 3G, we have installed 3CX phonesystem version 10, and we are having problem with external extension over 3G on Android phones, we use 5060 UDP or TCP and we are having same problems. We are having both incoming/outgoing calls problem, SIP signalization works fine we have analized it over wireshark but we are having problem with RTP, sometimes there is RTP on both side, sometime just on one side and sometimes there is no rtp at all.

Hi,

First of all try to find if your GSM provider allows VoIP over its 3G network. Most of them don't. After that, keep in mind that over 3G you don't always have a public IP address. Try to use Tunnel option on your android phone. You can also test android phones in a wi-fi environment, if this works that it is a problem of the 3G network.

Over WiFi and tunnel works fine, but application 3CXPhone on Android is crashing occasionly. Over 3G sometimes works but over different mobile provider.
