External FQDN

I have already setup our phone server, however our network infrastructure is changing. With that change we are getting new static IPs. I see at erp.3cx.com I can release the FQDN but not change the IP address. Also on the phone server I see we can change the Public IP address.

Does changing the IP address on the phone server change it on the FQDN?

We are currently running 3cx v15 on 2012 r2.

Hello there,

Please note that releasing the FQDN from the ERP will release your key from the FQDN and from you Public IP address. Doing that thought will mean that you will have to re-install the PBX as the key is bound to the FQDN only during the installation process.
What you can do is change the IP under settings/network/public ip and restart your services. You will have to wait several hours though for the DNS entries to propagate through out.

Also note that if your private IP changes you will have to backup your system without including license information and FQDN, un-install your system and re-install using your backup.
