I have been struggling with trying to get my 3cx App approved. Eery time it fails, I have found something that I screwed up except this last time. Here is the response from the reviewer.

We have determined that your app's use case and screencast for the requested permission are valid. However, we were unable to fully replicate the experience from step #3. Specifically, we are unable to receive the message from the website to the user's end (messenger).

To resolve this issue, please revise your bot to respond and function appropriately, then re-submit for review. Furthermore, kindly provide a Facebook test credentials that can interact with your BOT.

For more information, read our (https://developers.facebook.com/docs/messenger-platform).

Please re-submit accordingly and we will re-review your application.

Thank you.

I can send a message from my personal FB account to the business page and it comes through on the text extension/account in 3cx. I can send back as well. THey seem to be saying that they can't do the same, but of course they can't becuase the app is not live and only gets messages from FB Page admins. And do I need to create a FB Test account (am I even allowed to do that) for them and assign it as admin on my page?

Sorry for the dumb questions. At this point, if a partner is reading this and interested, I would be glad to pay to fix it or get it approved.

Thanks

For what its worth, a handful of people are having similar issues, including myself. I wish I could get a partner interested in taking me or at least this project on.

Yes, I am not even sure where to start on hiring a partner to help with this. Or to get the attention of someone at 3cx.

Hello, did you find a solution? Facing same.

No, nothing. Anyone else have any luck?

Anyone got feedback on this yet?

May i ask, after you submit, do you select to go Live as per step 21,22 on the guideline?

I did for the first app and review was on pending for a long time (10 days plus). Left it on Dev mode for the second app and it was reviewed right away.
Figured the Live mode was getting in the way of review so i switched it back to Dev mode. It was reviewed right away, but there's been a lot of back and forth between resubmitting and the reviewers' feedback.

Also, for the second app, the Business asset user profile access permission was approved right away, but they had an issue responding to their test message from a generic test user account i think, so I was asked to create a test facebook user after that and submit, but this has been the feedback for the second app, although I've tested all credentials time and again and it works just fine.

I'm going to go ahead and try putting one of the apps on live mode and hopefully they review it at all, cause I'm running out of time. If 3CX can support with this issue, please let me know what the options are. It's urgent. @TheodorosG_3CX

It seems that Meta is not able to access the test account to review.

How else can I go about that? It doesn't use 2 factor authentication and isn't restricted in anyway. I've had someone else test it and it's accessible from their end. The feedback doesn't exactly help me point out what else could be the problem either.

FWIW, my app, that fails review, is in live mode.

I created the integration last week. Same problem as you, it can't verify the use case and I don't know how to proceed

Did you contact the business Meta support? https://www.facebook.com/business/help
Mine will verify the use case, but they can't send messages back and forth. So is there something on that generic Meta page that can help us? This is like trying to deal with the government or bigcorp phone company or something.. Every official blames the user for the issue and passes it back to the other entity without a shred of helpful information. I am beginning to think that 3cx should just delete the FB capabilities if they don;'t work.

I just finally got my App approved today after several weeks of trying.

Do not add the "login" credentials for them to test. They will send a message and you just need to reply and they will approve it. The response I got from them is that when you are adding credentials to login, they are expecting it to be a login via facebook.

Grazie
