Solved Factory Default Fanvil x210

Hi - I need to factory default an x210 but no longer have the web username and password, Does anyone have the hard reset procedure for these handsets?

X210 isn't listed and the #key reset isn't working John

Hi Godfrey,

The X210 is part of the X-series so you should normally be able to do it by holding down # and then plugging the phone in.

If for whatever strange reason this does not lead the phone to boot into POST mode (to allow the reset to take place), you also have the alternative option of:

1. Letting it boot up completely
2. Holding down the "OK" button for about 5-10 sec. until you see the "Factory Reset" prompt
3. Confirm the prompt, and the phone should now go ahead to reset, and reboot back to factory defaults


If for whatever reason this is also not possible, then I would suggest contacting Fanvil support directly or your Fanvil reseller if you have one and get support from them.
