My SIP provider (VoIP Innovations) has five inbound trunks for incoming calls, each with separate IP address. Since calls can come in on any of them, I need to have all five.
This means that I need to have all 40+ of my DIDs added to each of the five trunks, then each DID selected in each extension so that any call coming in on any trunk to that DID will be routed to the proper extension. In the end, I will have over 200 inbound routes (40 DIDs x 5 SIP Trunks), and five identical DIDs per extension, all entered and selected individually.
Is there a better way to do this? It seems like there should be a way to import DIDs, then set inbound route for the DID so that any call coming in to that DID from any trunk will be routed properly.
What am I missing?
