We currently have a customer on a 3CX Instance: 3CX Standard 4 SC.
They would like a Failover of sort, that would allow forwarding of a DID when power outage on site is detected.
For example. if the customers internet goes down on site due to a Black Out, we want to be able to forward all calls that would be made to deskphones forward to mobile numbers.
anyone have an idea on a way to accomplish this ? Like if 3CX cannot contact the SBC a Forwarding Rule turns on.

Hello,

There is already a Failover feature (Active - Standby) implemented in PBX level from 3CX.
Please read the documentation.

You need to have Enterprise or Pro License to enable the Failover Functionality.

I hope this helps.

Thank you for the reply, this wasn't the type of failover i was looking for.
I need a fix for when the power/internet goes down on site, to then forward all calls to mobile numbers.
in this scenario the PBX will still be online. but the deskphones and SBC wont be able to reach the PBX.

I understand,

The Forward to Mobile Feature exists on the PBX and can be configured from the Inbound Rules or forwarding rules of extension when the PBX is up.
(Not specifically when the SBC or Phones goes down).
Anyway you can have your Mobile App, Web App and the Actual Phone ring in the same time so whenever your office phone is down you can answer through one of the other options.

See if your sip provider can forward calls to the mobile, if it sees no connection to your server
