I have the Enterprise version V20. Now the version is supposed to have a failover. Or shall I say it did. Now I do have another server that does act as the passive or the failover for if the active or primary goes down. Now on the primary the failover checkbox is active, and on the passive the IP address of the active is listed and to active when either the Sip Server, WebServer, or Media & Tunnel Server fail. and the time interval set is 300 seconds.. Now in the past if the primary went out, the passive automatically became active the FQDN automatically switched over and I'm back up and running until I can then figure why the active went out. Most recently, the primary went down, but the failover never activated automatically like it should be and like it did in the past... Now for kicks and giggles, the other day, I manually shut down the primary to see if the failover would activate. If should have after 5 minutes, but it did not, and still didn't after 15 minutes... The next day, tried it again and still wouldn't activate automatically. Manually it will activate, but that defeats the whole purpose of the failover feature in the enterprise version.. Don't know why now the passive is now not automatically activating if the active goes down.
