Solved Failure install 3cx on Debian 10

Hi, I am following this article for a fresh install of 3cx on Debian 10.

The first step says:

wget -O- http://downloads-global.3cx.com/downloads/3cxpbx/public.key

but it gives the following error?

E: gnupg, gnupg2 and gnupg1 do not seem to be installed, but one of them is required for this operation

Is there something missing here? I am failing at the first hurdle.

I am not 100% sure about this specific error, but currently 3CX is only supported on Debian 9 Stretch.
Debian 10 support is still in technical preview state.

Oh and i just noticed you missed something in your first line.
It should be:

wget -O- http://downloads-global.3cx.com/downloads/3cxpbx/public.key | sudo apt-key add -

Buster is not officially supported yet.

There is a technical preview available though https://www.3cx.com/blog/releases/debian-buster-technical-preview/

The above link contains a link to an iso file with buster. You can try it this way

How do I just install the normal / latest version?

I have triggered a Debian 9 reinstall of the VPS and will try again. I have 6 other 3cx installs with Debian 10 which installed no issues?

That's not a good idea for now - they are not considered stable releases

Ignore my stupidity, I had actually used Debian 9 (stretch) and assumed I had used Debian 10. I am installing on Debian 9 now and it seems to be working fine...

You could have used the 3cx Debian iso image https://www.3cx.com/docs/manual/installing-debian-linux-pbx/
