Unsupported FanLink WiFi Phone

Has anybody tried the new LinkVil phone W611W on 3CX. I know it's not on the list of supported phones, does 3Cx have any plans to include the phone ?

I have been using the W611W since December.

If you are having issues with the BLF buttons you need to use the newsest template and also update firmware (2.12.4.14 or newer). Thats how i fixed the problem with fanvils help in Jan 2023.

I am using it daily with 3CX Ent V18 and it is a very nice product. Sound is great and very robust.

The only issue is that 3CX has not yet officially supported this phone and that is why in the dashboard of 3CX you keep seeing a red alert.

i have import the xml and the W611W is available for selecting as phone inside user. But how do i set the provisioning url in the phone?

If you have an SBC in your network, the provisioning should happen automatically. In the list of phones, you should see the W611W. Keep in mind as its not supported officially, you will always see it highlighted in warnings as an unsupported devise (red text).

Simply assign it to the user, set the prefrered parameters in the 3cx admin and then wait for it to provision itself.

I have been testing this unit out, but it seems to goto sleep and then doesn’t ring, until you press a button to wake it, anybody else seen this?!

I successfully add a "Fanvil X5yu v2" with the MAC of my LINKVIL.
I added the autoprovision link to the Linkvil, and it autoprovisioned.
BLFs came down. Seems to work fine.

Early testing and my feedback is it's an excellent handset. You need to tweak the web interface directly to make the DSS keys available whilst in a call (so that you can transfer to them), shared parking also works well using the same method. Currently the only issue I've found is that DND isn't synced to the 3cx server like it is on Fanvil desk phones and other handsets and app (essentially it's just local DND to that device), hopefully this will be fixed in a future update.

Check if the device has a uaCSTA setting that might be disabled. 3CX uses CSTA to sync the DND status.

Thanks for the suggestion, yes it does have that setting, but I'd already enabled that (well to be fair it was on by default).

Hi,

"Sort of" is my answer. Whilst I've not had an issue with it not ringing I do notice it dropping off the system when it goes to sleep, this is most evident if you are using the old windows desktop app (sorry I still prefer this one due to the higher density of information you can display) as it keeps popping up with new choices of phone available to link to.

Hi, ive just written the fanvil support and its awesome! They respond verry quick and sends me some .xml file.
It works fine - ive just modified the blf section because in the original file there was only 1 blf implemented. Ive doubled it to 64 blf keys.

Also the given default background image is not implemented into the 3cx (file is missing into the system) but i think with enterprise edition there is no problem to set one.

fanvil_phonebook.xml will implement as local phonebook into the w611w at the moment.

i think together we can improve the function of this template.

Progress, but the BLF buttons are not available. I'm using the latest firmware 2.12.5 series, and have used the latest template you provided. Any hints?

Thanks for this! It's a great phone!
I'm wondering, is there a way to have the admin console URL include the username and password? Right now in my Users / IP Phone, the admin url is just "http://192.168.1.x"

And also how can I add other fields to the template?

For example, Dial Send Delay, I want to add in there.
