Has anybody tried the new LinkVil phone W611W on 3CX. I know it's not on the list of supported phones, does 3Cx have any plans to include the phone ?

Thank you

Same question. Have minor interest in this from client.

My NFR unit arrives today so I'll let you know how it goes!

Sorry for the lack of response, it's been a busy few days.

I really like the new W611W and the call quality is superb.

I have a friend that is on the phone all day with clients in his job role, he conveniently popped in to our office to hot desk for the day so I got him to test it for me and he had no issues at all and also complimented the call clarity.

Just got my NFR, any update on 3cx provisioning?

For now you need to provision it as a generic SIP device.

Connect the W611W to WiFi, then using a computer on the same network, connect to the web interface, then go to Line->SIP and fill in the following:
  • Username -> Extension number
  • Display Name -> Name
  • Realm -> [your 3CX fqdn]:5060
  • Activate -> checked
  • Authentication User -> Auth ID from phone provisioning tab under the extension you're provisioning to
  • Authentication Password -> Auth Password from phone provisioning tab under the extension you're provisioning to
Sip Server 1:
  • Server address -> fqdn
  • Server Port -> 5060
  • Transport Protocol -> UDP
For the Proxy Server you'll need to install an SBC onto your computer so follow 3CX instructions on installing an SBC onto windows 10

We got ours today and copied the autoprovisioning link from one our X5s and it worked great. excellent call quality and all the BLF keys came over along with shared park.

@TSMAdmin how did you get it to work with the autoprovision URL? I tried but it wouldn't work for me.

I did get it to work setup as a generic SIP device but it would be nice to get the BLF keys to work.

@TSMAdmin As per the above, I would love to know how you put in the provisioning URL as I've tried various ways and cannot get it to provision like that

I need to know this as well :D

Hi, ive just written the fanvil support and its awesome! They respond verry quick and sends me some .xml file.
It works fine - ive just modified the blf section because in the original file there was only 1 blf implemented. Ive doubled it to 64 blf keys.

Also the given default background image is not implemented into the 3cx (file is missing into the system) but i think with enterprise edition there is no problem to set one.

fanvil_phonebook.xml will implement as local phonebook into the w611w at the moment.

i think together we can improve the function of this template.

Did you have to edit the xml in any way? It doesn't seem to work for me.
Could you explain the steps you took to register it? :D
Are the phones in the same network as the 3CX or behind an SBC?

EDIT: Problem solved. It was in fact my SBC which wasn't connected at the time.

Yes. i've edit them but only in the BLF Type section. im not sure but the suport asks me from which country i've wrote to them. So it could be possible that there is a country definition inside the template.

It's possible to sync phoneboox with 3CX?

What is the difference between manual config or auto provisioning?

Thank you.

Hi the phonebook fromn3cx is available into the phone - in the posted template the phonebook will shown as "local contacts".

A sync from the telephone to the pbx isnt available because the phone updated the actual given configuration at the pbx at each reboot and dont sync the contacts before.

Sorry but i don't understand... I have download the fanvil_w611w.ph.xml but i don't understand how to configure it for sync contact from my 3cx... After i have edit xml file how to upload it to the phone? Thanks.

Ahh okay. the template is for the 3cx pbx themself. you can upload it under settings -> Templates. After thats finished you can add the device normaly.
