Hi

Has anyone setup the Fanvil G100S ATA to work with 3CX?

I have bought one to setup with an analogue bell and I can't get it to register, its an on site server so I thought it would be very simple to install but its just not registering.

SIP username, password and registrar is basically what is required for getting most ATA's working with 3CX.

With that being said the method of some can be different.

I have not used a Fanvil - Grandstream Handytones and Patton MATA only.

The Grandstream was fairly straightforward where the Patton (now replaced with the SN102) required extra parameters.

I would contact whomever you bought it off for support, I am not sure if Fanvil offer support direct.

Thanks for the reply, I'll speak to the company I bought it from and see what they say.

I got it because it was cheap, if I can't get it to provsion then I'll have to get a supported ATA.

That is the inherent issue with some of these manufacturers - you buy cheap you get a cheap experience. Better to stay supported in my view.

We've been using the Fanvil X4 Phone on a few installs recently and I've found them to be easy to provision and not had any issues so far. So thought I'd try the Fanvil ATA, its only for an analogue bell that will be rung very infrequently so thought I'd give it a go.

I've managed to get it to regsiter.

I just took a backup of the config file in .txt format from the Fanvil X4 that the analogue bell is going to be used for, made a few manaul changes to the IP Address etc. then imported it into the ATA.

After having a quick look I can't see what has changed from my manual attempts though.

I think next time I'll just buy a Grandstream HT801 or something supported seen as they're cheap aswell.
