Hi JohnOk this is normal then. You selected "BLF" type, which is not valid for this type of device.
As per our guide, it needs to be of the "Speed Dial" type.

JohnExactly correct, it will stay this way even after rebooting.
Only a factory reset will remove this setting as far as I know.
Hi JohnIt's better to not make any assumptions for things you haven't tested, otherwise you might be caught by surprise
There are a number of things that the template provisions (and will be overwritten in case you change them manually). You need to study the templates or config files if you want to see which parameters we provision.
Everything else on the phone, 3CX does not touch. Those settings will remain as you set them.
We try to provision as few things as possible, just the very basics so that you are free to change the rest any way you like.
