Hello there,
A quick question about an issue I have encountered with my 3CX SMB instance and Fanvil V60P, where the latter would not register. I do all in accordance with the regular procedure, Admin>Users>Select User>IP Phone>Add, when I select Fanvil V60P and specify the MAC address, the next screen is greyed out, not allowin for any selection, whereas I seek the option to add the device as a Router Phone, which, as I can see, is still supported, as of March 2026.

I tried the firmware that was provided through the 3CX link, I tried to upgrade it from Fanvil website too, the issue remains there. Any advice would be very much appreciated.

P.S. I do not use SBC, since the plan is to have not more than 2-3 devices in total, connecting othersScreenshot 2026-06-11 110138.png through the mobile APP.

I think there was some confusion here, because there is no such thing as "connecting phones through the mobile app".

Also be advised the V60P is not a router phone.

In your exact scenario, an SBC is mandatory. Please go ahead and install an SBC.

I must have expressed myself in a misleading manner - I meant the rest of the staff will use Softphones, while the office would use 2-3 physical devices.

Thanks for clarifying the V60P detail. We will purchase something else then.

As for the SBC, I did download the ISO, but was planning to run it on a mini PC instead of a virtual machine, but I must have gone some wrong way, cause in the end it did not work as described in the manuals here.
