Solved Fanvil V62W Support

I have just deployed a 3CX system with V62W

I have found a couple of things

First off - The V62W is not the same as the V62

The V62 is a 6 DSS Key phone with a Black and White screen

The V62W is much like the V63 but ladled as a V62W and has 8 DSS Keys and a Colour Screen

So Yesterday I found the phone will connect and work with 3CX as a Fanvil V62 but DSS Keys 7 and 8 will skip and will not fill automatically

And you will also not get a 3CX desktop pic nor Custom image if set

Today playing around you can Register the V62W as a V63 (3CX does not have V62W support yet next thing to address) The V63 will fill out the DSS Keys no issues and give you the 3CX Logo


Now Support - 3CX when will the V62W become a supported phone along with allow Fanvil's to be a router phone on WIFI????

Do we have a Time line on Beta coming out as I currently see no updates for this?

Also the question to allowing Fanvils with WIFI to work on Wifi as a router phone??

Note: myself will not be running A router phone on wifi with other phones on it.

It will more be for users at home with a phone on WIFI?

Noting also the Yealink T5*W phones are able to be router phones on Wifi (just tested myself and worked)

V20 Update 5 final has now been released, so if you wish to add one of those models please go ahead but make sure to install the supported firmware first before you attempt to provision it.

Note: Router mode is only tested and certified to work on LAN.
