Fanvil v64 v2

[GT-UK]

My business uses Fanvil V64 IP phones, which work very well.

The latest batch of phones I've been supplied with are V64 v2 units. These units don't allow me to apply the 3CX firmware to them - every time I try to& update them, the update fails.

Any suggestions as to how I can fix this?

A new firmware will be released soon that should support the V2 hardware.

What version do yours have now?

Ok great thanks, our prospective release will be a higher version so I expect you should be good for both HW versions 1 and 2

We had so many issues with Fanvil v64 - they all went in the bin.

The final firmware will be released with V20 Update 9.
Currently we are on track with release candidate 2, so not too long now.

I've downloaded the latest 3CX firmware file for the V64 (v64_2.12.21.32.z), but it's still failing on the v2 units.

Is another update due to fix this?

Did you try to apply it via the phone's web UI or deploy from 3CX?

I've tried both.

It failed when deploying through 3CX, so I factory reset a unit and tried to upgrade via the phone UI.

All I get is 'Update failed!'

In this case please contact Fanvil Support directly, you might need an in between version possibly before they accept the latest

My test units upgraded successfully and show Rev.B on the back sticker.
