Good Afternoon
I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced or noticed this. The initial report from my customer was "If i'm in the process of making a call and it's ringing, and someone calls me or calls in before the call is answered the call gets dropped"
I tested this and what I've discovered is the call doesn't drop, the RBT audio is interrupted by the call waiting beep and never returns. It's then dead silence until the Callee answers or their VM picks up and then the audio returns. However, if the call is in progress with two way audio, the call waiting beep does NOT interrupt the audio.
This happens if the call comes from a Queue (with target users on the phone enabled), calls from Ring Groups (where use phone busy is set instead of PBX), or if it's a direct EXT to EXT or external to EXT call. However it only happens if the inbound call comes in while an outgoing call is in progress and not established/connected yet.
I haven't tested other fanvil phones as the users making the report are secretaries who need the large number of BLF keys the X210 offers.
I've tried going through the phone settings to see if I can locate the call waiting tone and disable it but the only option I've been able to locate is to disable call waiting all together.
