Hi All,
Issue Description:
I have a customer informing me that their phone dials the incorrect extension when the BLF keys are used. Power cycling the phone is the only way we've been able to solve the issue.
User presses the BLF key for extension 001. The phone then dials extension 019. The only correlation between these two extensions is they are on the same DSS Key # just on a different page.
There are 15 other phones on site that are not having this issue.

I have tried:
  • Factory Reset phone, removed from Instance. Reprovisioned phone.
  • Updated firmware to the latest version (2.12.16.22)
  • Confirmed BLF keys are configured correctly.
Does anyone have any idea's on what could be causing this or what to look out for ?

Have you also checked the BLF configuration here and the reserved keys?

I have gone and removed any special character's (hyphenated last names and apostrophe's were in extension names). Will have wait to hear from the customer if the issue is still occurring after removing special characters.
The user's will have to deal with the extension names not displaying EXACTLY how they spell their names.
I'll post a reply if this change did solve the issue :)

Don't forget to also reprovision the phone for the changed to apply.
Let me know the outcome.

Yep, I did reprovision the phone.
The user had already finished work for the week, I'll update this thread on Monday when the user can test.

Of course anytime

Glad to know this is resolved ;)
