Fax Extension on a cloud hosted system

Is there an option to allow fax extension on a cloud hosted system. Since there is not an internal LAN I don't see any options to allow it from anywhere. The option to make a basic extension to work is " Disallow use of extension outside the LAN (Remote extensions using Direct SIP or STUN will be blocked)" but I need to allow that specifically on a FAX Extension.

No option exist.
You can try to register the Fax device to an extension instead.

Hello @alw

Please note that this is not possible as all gateways are only intended for local use. Your best option is to deploy a VPN connection and set up your FAX as local.
