Hello,

This is the first time we have used the 3CX fax server for a client. We are having an issue with the inbound fax images being compressed and unreadable. It happens maybe a few a day and it's at random. I ruled out a bad fax machine on the other end, or a particular sender. Any ideas on settings to adjust?

System information:
Hosted 3CX - AWS - Windows Server

Inbound DID set to "Send Fax To" extension e-mail

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

What version of 3CX? Are you using T.38 or g.711 fall back? Are you using a supported provider?

Version: 6.0.655

SIP: Flowroute (T.38 supported)

I'm using the built in 3CX fax server to convert inbound faxes to email with G.711 to T.38 fallback enabled.

So I'd first disable G.711 fallback so ensure you are only using T.38.

I'll give that a shot and report back. Thanks for the suggestion.

@cobaltit That has worked out so far. Thanks for the suggestion!

Great. T.38 doing it's job, I like it!

Thanks for updating the thread.
