Hello,

I currently have a new V20 Setup Hosted and I unable to send out faxes using my HT801. Phones are working great.

Fax Trunk is all green and HT801 is green

Now what I am unsure about is if the Default Route of ending call is wrong.

I also contacted Telnyx if they see anything going through and nothing on their end.

I updated my HT801 and upload the current configuration I have.

I also attached a screenshot (HP Test Fax). I tried different Fax Numbers and I keep getting this error and I also tried a different fax machine.

PLEASE HELP

Screenshots are below.

What was the feedback from your provider?

Telnyx just told me there isn't anything coming through faxes wise, calls are showing up on their end and calls work on 3cx with telnyx.

This is the error I get even though there are outbound rules in place.

It seems that is failing to the outbound rule.
Have you added an outbound rule for extension 880 only?

Yes I did and that's the setup.

Can you move up this rule to the top priority?

Is it because the default route is set to end call? I do not see an option like v18 where I can change to send fax to?

Tried that no luck :(

Can you also set the main number in E164 format?
Also for testing purpose please remove the maximum length of the called number in the outbound rule.

Both number main and fax are set in e164 format +16751342 (For example) and calls work. Also when you mean remove the maximum length that's the calls to numbers with length of sent to blank. Correct?

Yes this correct, you can leave it blank. Check also the first attached screenshot were the callerid is not in E164 format. Try also this option.

Ahh okay, I corrected all of that. I will test it tomorrow. Do you have any other ideas in case this fails too?

At the moment without logs i cannot determine the exact issue.
If after more testing you still have issues, i would suggest to create a support ticket to check and advise further.

I still get a 30052 error :(

The Unknown Callid error indicates that it is declined from the provider.
Have you check from their side that they do receive the call?

Checked with them and they didn't get anything for the fax line they are getting everything for the phone lines just fine.

What i am confused about is why the default route for my fax SIP default route to End Call (It is also registered on Telnyx's end and see's it). Unlike in V18 it gives you give to route to fax.

Have you changed your outbound rule, since the log you posted, that said there was no matching rule? If you have access to the 3CX Activity Log, I would use that to confirm whether or not the rule is matching the digits dialed, and if not, then perhaps a modification (entry?) to the "Calls to numbers staring with prefix" field is required.

Information about the "default route":

Now specify the default route, this will be the destination calls will be routed to for DIDs not assigned to an (system) extension. So as soon as you assign the main number to for example your main IVR, then the default route will be ignored for that main trunk number. The same for a DID assigned to an extension. In effect the default route is the destination for any unassigned DIDs.

I just changed the rule to the screenshot below. I updated the ATA to the latest config too
