A few things I've seen that would be a nice quality of life improvement for configuring from inside 3cx for the Fanvil X6U phones:
- BLF does not have the "Memory Key" option. This is accessible from the actual phone UI, and is a little different from a Speed Dial key. I use this for direct extension paging/intercom. Example: If you have a dialing code of *80 for Paging, and want to page extension 102, you can dial *80102. But if you set a speed dial, it will fail because it will send the *80 IMMEDIATELY. If I program the phone directly as a Memory Key, then I can hit the "intercom" key and then the DSS key for the extension, then it will dial and work.
- Does not have an option to keep the backlight always on, but this, along with other time options ARE available in the phone UI.
These last two are more of a "whole 3cx" and not just the Fanvil phones:
- In the Phones section, make the IP addresses listed for each phone clickable and open in a new tab/window.
- Under Phone Provisioning when selected multiple devices, let us also set Time Format, Power LED notifications, Backlight, and VLAN.
I know maybe some aren't doable, or it would only be if they were the same device, but let's just say that I know just how much an improvement having that clickable IP address would be.....
