Hi 3cx team, this one is not a question but rather small feedback FYI

related to the new "open for testing" AI Support web based tool.

I kicked wheels on it yesterday, and it was - quite a good experience - but not perfect - but helpful. So figured I might put feedback here.

I asked the AI Bot "Please tell if if there is a way to generate a report of all users in a 3cx system for which the self-identification message has not been recorded"
and a variation related-but-different second question, "Please tell if if there is a way to generate a report of all users in a 3cx system for which the voice mail greeting message has not been recorded"

It helpfully got back to me in each case, that there was no way via web admin gui to generate the report. But it offered a suggestion that it was possible to make a small bash script to run in the linux 3cx server environment / to generate a list of (info requested)

I asked it to generate the (recommended scripts) and it gave me back a very densely formatted blob of output, which was definitely ~bash-script more or less, but the formatting (line breaks) were all wrong and it could not work as provided. I tried to massage it a bit manually and still had trouble.

In the end I just looked at the info provided from the recommended scripts and then did some basic (find and grep one liners) as per:

find /var/lib/3cxpbx/Instance1/Data/Ivr/Voicemail/Data/* | grep self_id

and

find /var/lib/3cxpbx/Instance1/Data/Ivr/Voicemail/Data/* | grep savevmgreet

these spat back to me ~sensible-looking output, approx as per below

ROOTPROMPT # find /var/lib/3cxpbx/Instance1/Data/Ivr/Voicemail/Data/* | grep self_id
/var/lib/3cxpbx/Instance1/Data/Ivr/Voicemail/Data/102/self_id_prompt.wav
/var/lib/3cxpbx/Instance1/Data/Ivr/Voicemail/Data/103/self_id_prompt.wav
/var/lib/3cxpbx/Instance1/Data/Ivr/Voicemail/Data/104/self_id_prompt.wav
/var/lib/3cxpbx/Instance1/Data/Ivr/Voicemail/Data/106/self_id_prompt.wav
/var/lib/3cxpbx/Instance1/Data/Ivr/Voicemail/Data/111/self_id_prompt.wav
and
ROOTPROMPT # find /var/lib/3cxpbx/Instance1/Data/Ivr/Voicemail/Data/* | grep savevmgreet
/var/lib/3cxpbx/Instance1/Data/Ivr/Voicemail/Data/102/savevmgreeting.wav
/var/lib/3cxpbx/Instance1/Data/Ivr/Voicemail/Data/103/savevmgreeting.wav
/var/lib/3cxpbx/Instance1/Data/Ivr/Voicemail/Data/104/savevmgreeting.wav
/var/lib/3cxpbx/Instance1/Data/Ivr/Voicemail/Data/111/savevmgreeting.wav
so this more or less answered my question / helps me find my way to the answer. I have not yet tested to see if the info is actually correct but I am guessing "probably"

I gently poked the AI a few times to "please adjust syntax and formattion on the script you just provided" to see if it could - spot and fix typo/glitches/etc. but that was kind of not helpful.

So > not massively different from my normal day-to-day AI random testing of other AI_platform things (ie, sometimes I can ask google search for hints > it gives me an ai generated response which is full of autority and 'very clear' - except for the fact that step one refers to 'open THIS menu' then THAT submenu - and I find THIS nor THAT actually exist. etc.

So. Definitely the AI help has some value. Not 100% sure I think I will believe all the things it tells me, but definitely it is a nice tool to have access to.

Hope this feedback is slightly helpful if the team doing AI_DEV_WORK are seeking such

-Tim
