Hi,

We're setting up a new 3CX phone system and I've found the page below for the firewall ports:
http://www.3cx.com/manual/3CXPhoneSystemManual31/phone-system17.html

What I need to know is are these the ports to open for incoming calls?

Andrew

Hi

Port 5060 contains the Call Header Info
Ports 9000+ supply Audio / Video

So you need to open all ports for calls in and out to work

There is a good article here on the 3CX site about how to configure a firewall.
http://www.3cx.com/blog/voip-howto/firewall-configuration-overview/

The next ports must be opened/forwarded to the 3CX Server
5060 TCP/UDP
5090 TCP/UDP
9000~90xx UDP

Remember that when doing port forwarding or allowing ports in via the firewall to allow two ports per call

So f your VoIP provider allows you to make / receive upto 10 calls at any one time then you will need to open 20 ports

9000 to 9020 UDP

3CX default is 9000 to 9049 so that will allow you to make 24 Calls
