Hi all, I’m giving the router phone setup a go with the Yealink T53. I went to my office and set up a phone there and it went pretty smoothly. Created the extension in the web client, told it what phone I was using, provided the MAC, rebooted and everything came up as it should. Now for this particular customer, the owner spends a lot of time in Florida for the winter so I need to set up an additional router phone for him. So I brought another phone home to test on another network, followed all of the steps and the phone partially provisioned the first time (3CX Phonebook came up) but now it just says “No Service” and my IP keeps getting blacklisted for failed login attempts. I’ve tried factory resetting the phone and deleting and re-adding the phone but no luck. Not sure what else to try.

Nevermind. Solution was to bring the firmware up to date first.

Correct - if you use an incompatible firmware, the router function is not available and the phone tries to register in a manner that is not allowed, causing your IP to become blocked.
