hii all,
i have pap2t of linksys,
my voip provoider told me to fix the call back i need to change the flash time
between 100 to 750

i cant find how i do it?

thank you all.

Go to Admin and advanced and then look for Regional and then a section for Control Timers. This is applicable for the PAP2, so I am guessing similarly for the PAP2T

There is a Hook Flash Timer, but I'm not sure what that would have to do with your provider. That is simply determines if a a flash qualifies, as a flash, to the ATA, it is not something passed on as a timed value, it activates features in the ATA. The only time you would adjust this from the default is if a built in flash key was not working properly.

What is the issue with your provider?

thank you all for replaying,

the problem is that in the pap2t,
after i finish a call ,the phone ring i pickup the phone and the call hang up,

the sip provide told me to change the value of the flash timg betwen 100 to 750..

i have on the pap2t this options:
Hook Flash Timer Min (now its .1)
Hook Flash Timer Max (now its .9)
Call Back Expires: (now its 1800)
Call Back Retry Intvl: (now its 30)

what option to change?

thank you all for helping..

Not an issue I'm familiar with.

Does this happen after every call, incoming and outgoing?

How long after you hang up, does the phone ring?

If you don't answer it, does it just continue to ring?

Is someone legitimately calling you, voicemail notification ring, perhaps? Any caller ID associated with this? What does the information page of the PAP2T show for last incoming caller/reason for disconnect?

Does your provider believe that you are not hanging up long enough and instead generating a flash with the handset?

not every call..
it ring normaly like any otrhe call...
im stil investigate this,,

but when i call my sip provider it tell me that i need to change the flash time...

how can i check what is coinfigure in the flash time?
where this function is? in the pap2t?

thnx

I gave you those fields and you reported back that the min. Time was set to .1 and the max time was set to .9

The .1 represents 100 whereas the .9 represents 900. To explicitly set the parameter to the provider recommendation, you need to change the max setting to .75. This will then give you 100 and 750, but I am with Leejor in not really understanding why this comes into play in your scenario. If you continue to have the issue, you might consider raising the min from 100 to 300 (.3) and see if a change.
