Hey just wondering if anyone has any insight on what I should check for inbound text messages not being received. Just for some clarification we use Flowroute, I have it set up on my own companies PBX and it works fine. We have another customer who shares our Flowroute sip as well but has their numbers on there. Their PBX is IP Authenticated. When setting up the SMS texting I created the API keys and tied it to the account all similar to how we have our own set up. Thing is they can send texts but they cannot receive any. Not sure where to look or what settings I should test against. I gave Flowroute a call and they confirmed its being handed off properly to both sides but I don't see any activity in the dashboard or activity log. I tried using another number as we had this issue before and that resolved it finding out the number was flagged or in some state that Flowroute determined for it, kind of confusing but was resolved afterwards. I mentioned this to them and they acknowledged it saying that this scenario isnt the same case as everything is green on their side suggesting to reach out to 3CX. Just wanted to ask around here if anyone has had similar issues and resolved them and or any insight of where I should look so I can find the root of the problem.

Thanks to everyone!

Does the firewall test and the SMS test pass?

Hi Cobaltit,

Yes both tests pass. I think I may have figured it out. Since they're on the same Flowroute account as us and you can only have 1 SMS/MMS url tied to the account I cant add their own PBX URL handler.

You mean they are on the exact same account, not a sub account? If that’s the case yeah it won’t work. You need to use a sub account for that.
