Hi,
In SP5 we were able to force extension to be online/available and enabling a push on that extension by registering it to a mobile client (Android or IOS). Now with SP6 this feature is not working the only way to force is to enable call mobile simultaneously which is not a solution for what we are looking for.

Would you please tell us if this feature was disabled on SP6 or if there is some how to enable it?
Thank you

Any word about that please!!

What are trying to achieve with this? Perhaps there is another way.

Hi,
I have a queue Q0, if no agent is login I want to keep ringing without the message no agent available. For that I need a dummy extension to keep available.

Hi,
ring 20s if no answer then go to another step.

I don't understand why you would want a caller to wait 20 seconds, when there is no agent logged in. Why not just move them on to "the next step". It just seems a pointless waste of the callers time, when it accomplishes nothing, other than them listening to music on hold. if there were a big bell ringing, during that time, telling the agents to log in now, then maybe. If it is to simply play a recording, then it could be done using a digital receptionist, that then progressed to a queue, with (hopefully) someone that is going to actually answer.

Thank you for your to take time to reply. The dummy extension useful for many scenarios. For a people who would be interested of the solution which seems working for me:

1. send welcome email of a dummy extension with push to your iphone
2.once registered go to iphone settings and switch to mode airplane
3. back to 3cx app and delete or disable the account.
4. go to console you will see the dummy available.
5. I restarted all the service and the dummy extension stays avaible.

I am happy :)

unfortunately this stopped working after 2 days.:(

Please note that the Push functionality has changed slightly on SP6 and now an extension using push will eventually de-register if a client does not register to it. Setting the option "Ring my mobile simultaneously" will keep the extension registered but the PBX will try an outbound call every time.

So it seems you'll need to find a (local?) number, that will ring for at least 20 seconds, and not be answered, to set as the "ring my mobile" number.
