Is there a way to force a SBC to reprovision itself?

The reason I ask is I have 3 sites:
  • A, the main site with a v20 PBX on Debian
  • B with a fair amount of users and calls
  • C with only a few phone users
B and C connect to A via a site-to-site (IPSEC) VPN and routing is in place so all 3 sites can contact each other. As such, all phones were deployed without using SBCs. A and B used to be connected with a point-to-point leased line.

Site B are reporting poor call quality issues on a frequent, but ultimately intermittent, basis (as in there is no distinguishable pattern, nor an obvious cause).

I'm monitoring the WAN and VPN and it's all reporting absolutely fine.

To continue troubleshooting this, and rule the VPN in or out as the cause, I wanted to move all users at B on to a SBC. I installed one before I set up a DNS policy to resolve traffic for the PBX to the WAN IP (instead of the internal one, and therefore down the VPN). As such it's now sat staring at me with an internal IP as it's external one (even after a reboot).

I now have the correct DNS policies in place to resolve the PBX to the external IP from Site B & C. I've installed a new SBC at C and it's showing the right external IP. That's got me wondering if there's a way I can make the SBC reprovision itself, instead of having to reinstall it (and possibly delete and reconfigure all the phones again) at site B.

You can SSH to your SBC and go
Code:
sudo nano /etc/3cxsbc.conf

modify the bits you need a restart the sbc
