I have a few clients that have business hours setup in 3CX (and those still work routing calls for in/out of hours) that also like to set the phones out of office for lunch/breaks/etc.

Since the v20 upgrade the dial code to force the system out of office is no longer working. Previously they would dial *22 to force out of office, *21 to force back in office, or *2 to reset to default hours. None of this seems to be working now.

You will need to use the Web Client for that, because in v20 the office hours have been moved to the departments.

The dial code is no longer available in V20 as mentioned from @edossantos_sipcaller
This has to be forced from the Web Client and select to Override Office hours. This will allow you to select for which department and the time duration. If you also update to the latest Update2 you will be able to add this dial code with the 3CX Call Control API as per guideline here.

For self hosted you can enable the dial codes in v20. You can enable the dial codes for system mode by adding the prefix (eg. *64) as the value to the DIALCODEOUTOFFICE parameter (Admin | Advanced | Parameters). Then the dial codes can be used as before and assigned as custom speed dial entries to DSS buttons. *641 = In Office; *642 = Out of Office; *64 or *640 is system default hours.

@doncol - I have attempted to use the DIALCODEOUTOFFICE parameter and it does not function. The recording plays back stating the system is in Out of Office or In Office, etc., but the routing does not actually change.

Have you two tried the script linked above?

We are attempting the script right now on one of our client systems (Self-Hosted).
