Dear Team,

I would like to know that , can i set up a call forward/transfer to any other outside number by dialing short code , can i set up short code

For Example , i have 6 breaches on different sides and i have one main number where i want to forward to call to Branch 1 or 2 or 3 to their number.

can i set up any short codes for this , i press the code than call will forward to that specific branch.

all branches have diffrent landline numbers .
can i set short code in 3cx to define numbers to transfer call.

Thank u very much

if i receive call and i talk to them, than they want to contact person who is in brach 3 for example, can i forward to their number by dialing short code

We do this by setting up an additional extension and setting the status to Away, you can then configure the forwarding rules on that extension to Forward to Number. That way you can just use the usual transfer method and call an extension and it will forward the call through to the external number.

This might depend on a few things, what are the other branches, are they bridged 3CX PBXs? If not, you could created "dummy/routing" extensions that have an exception to forward all calls to a specific number. By doing so, all you would need to dial is the extension number of that "dummy/routing" extension.

Edit: @Gavin Martin 's suggestion should work just fine though do take a look at using exceptions instead too as I think you might find it easier to manage.
