What is the best way to forward calls to outside number?

here is the scenario:
I've two PBXs connected via a bridge, let's call them A and B.
I've setup an IVR in A and one option in the IVR needs to be forwarded to an IVR in B.

At the moment, I've set it up as follows:
I've created a dummy extension in A and forwarding the call to the dummy extension.
In the dummy extension I've setup the IVR extension as Mobile number and setup a forwarding rule forward all calls to mobile.

This works but have a tiny issue.
the "music on hold" will play for about a second before forwarding the call to the IVR in B.
Any suggestions?!

Does it behave any differently, if you simply forward to an outside number (same number as you use for the mobile), if not registered, rather than using the forward to mobile option?

It behaves the same. I had tried that method as well. You can still hear the music during transfer.

What about (rather than a dummy set) using a physical set, regisitered, but ringer muted. Use the Ring my mobile at the same time option. I shouldn't think that would play the music. Haven't tried using that without the physical set being used, but worth a try.

In 3CX V14 where IVR had a 0 second setting instead for now minimum setting for IVR is 1sec, so this is why MOH start when transfer

Wasn't even thinking it was the IVR issue. That being the case, since (as I understand it, in most instances), the MOH starts from the beginning each time. Perhaps you could record (or edit the existing music file), to include a couple seconds of silence, at the beginning. Other uses of the music would probably not notice, but silence would be heard when passing through an IVR with the 1 second delay.

We have now a silence where 3cx was broadcasting message like that during transfer " Please wait until i transfer...."

I'm quiet sure 3CX deleted audio message but not the during time it was played, so instead of audio we have silence delay.

This is exactly what I did. But, the problem with this is that if in future the music is changed - I have to remember to add the silence again.

Unfortunately (in your case), that is the way the IVR now works. I'd keep a copy of the music file, in a safe place, in the event it gets replaced in a future update.
