Hey Community,

what is the most quickest and painless method for an FQDN change?

I know I have to reinstall the PBX on my linux server. I can make a backup and restore, but Im not sure what is backuped.

Necessary for me are the users, phones trunks and them detailed settings like permissions, passwords. output parameters of trunks etc. this was most time consuming settings.

Can I maybe try before reinstall on new test host?

Regards

Hi @intl,

In order to change FQDN you will need to re-install the system. To do so:
  1. Create a backup of the system without licence and FQDN information
  2. Un-install the PBX.
  3. Access the customer portal and release the key from the current FQDN
  4. Re-install the system using the licence key and select the FQDN you'd like.
