Our install has been up for a few months now with everything working very well.

However, today I received an alert email saying:

"The FQDN you configured at installation time is not linked to the license key which is currently activated. As a result, video conferences cannot work. Activate the license used at FQDN creation time or re-install and use your new license key and link it to a new FQDN."

In addition there is a message in the logs saying:

"The FQDN you configured at installation time is not linked to the license key which is currently activated. As a result, video conferences cannot work. Activate the license used at FQDN creation time or re-install and use your new license key and link it to a new FQDN."

I've logged into the customer portal and it's showing the license key we are using linked with the correct FQDN.

We do not use video conferencing so I wondered whether this was a message I could safely ignore or if I'm likely to run into trouble at certificate renewal time.

The install is gcloud hosted and was deployed via pbx express.

Has anyone come across this problem before?

Hello @Lee Cramman

What PBX version are you running? You can see the exact build number on the Dashboard, under the Information column next to the licence version. For example 15.5.15502.6.
If you are on the latest version then navigate to the Dashboard and check if the FQDN is correctly listed under the Information column. Also try refreshing the licence key information and see if you get any errors.

We are on 15.5.15502.6.

Everything is green on the dashboard (including the correct FQDN).

Refreshing the license key information was the first thing I tried. I'm not sure how I can tell if it fixed anything though - presumably I have to wait for the error to appear again?

If the FQDN is linked to the management console and appears under the management console i do not think you will see the error again but i would recommend keeping an eye on it and let me know if you face any more issues.

Will do, cheers
