Good afternoon all,

I was have been trying to fix my FQDN for about a week and it's not working for me. Here's what I've done so far:

Verified in my 3cx portal my FQDN is correct
Verified in my 3cx portal my IP address is listed correctly
ran nslookup which did show my correct IP address
tested on different devices to verify FQDN is not working
triple checked I am entering my FQDN as follows:
https://ip-or-name-of-box:5001

It's not a huge deal because I can login to my management console via my IP address (static IP), but frustrating because I don't always remember it and thus involves me having to search my emails for my ip address.

Thanks for the help!

Are you indeed using port 5001 for your installation?

I am currently accessing my web management console via https://ipaddress:5001
unless there is a setting I am missing somewhere somehow, this would be the same using the FQDN?

Edit:
I also was able to access my management console via FQDN when I initially set it up.

Is device on premise or in the cloud?

So you haven't said if you actually confirmed that your FQDN is resolving to the IP address. Is it?

Going to be 100% honest. I've been trying to fix my FQDN, which has not been resolving for a week as mentioned. I post here, and all of a sudden my FQDN works fine now. Don't know what happened, but looks like it resolved itself. Thank you for your willingness to help.

Glad to see the issue has been resolved and thank you for updating the thread.
