Free license and FQDN & SMTP question

I have done a search and can not find the answer.

With the free, Standard licence, does the FQDN and SMTP functionality remain in place perpetually, Or does it expire at some stage and require payment?

It is free and included. For now. If it changes in 3 years then it will change.

For now, it's free forever.

Thanks Frederick, that is what I thought. I cant see it being free forever. 90% of my installs are paid but useful info all the same.
