It has taken me quite some time to figure out how to redirect port 5060 on the Fritzbox 7490 so I thought I might save other people some effort.
Previous versions could be done via Telnet and config edits but no longer. Here is the link to the Fritzbox Knowledgebase.
The trick is that disabling the internal telephony is not enough, you also have to delete all of the phone numbers. Then you can successfully redirect the port. In their words....
"Port 5060 can only be forwarded if no internet numbers have been entered in the FRITZ!Box. Otherwise, the port is reserved for internet telephony with the FRITZ!Box. "
