Since version 20 is out, we are not in place to edit all parameters when setting a voip provider. Some providers need to set the parameter FromUserPart = AuthID or else outbound calls cannot happen.

<field status="readonly" name="ParameterOut" custom="" parameter="FromUserPart">$AuthID</field>

I found a hack by choosing the Demnark provider 1TEL, which has as default this parameter and change the registar values.

I think that in the Sip trunks --> Options --> Caller ID Control must be added the parameter FromUserPart.

With supported and tested providers, the required settings are already in place in the default template as per testing via our interop.

Now, if you are using unsupported providers and require modifications, in that case, you can export the template, make your changes, and then delete the current trunk and import the template back, but note that by using unsupported providers, you are on your own in terms of support for any issues relating to calls or land issues with them.

Yes sure, I am talking about unsupported providers. Most of the times there are a bunch of providers and the approved are a very small number of them. Think about, in Greece, there is only one tested, but more than 30 available, that are working smoothly. Some times tested providers could be providers that 3cx partners are working and supporting for their clients.

You are absolutely right, and if you know what you are doing, most of the time you can adjust and make your 3CX System work with the provider you use.
Have a nice day
