Solved FXO configuration

My ISP modem is a Arris TG2482A, that has 2 FXS lines of carrier-grade VoIP for analog telephones. (I have 1 analog telephon connected to one these ports

Do I need a Gateway to connect these port to my 3cx ipbx? Or I need to configure the modem to direct call from the FXS port to my ipbx?

Or in case I need a Gateway FXO, the Grandstream HT801 is ok?

Help PLS.

Theoretically using an FXO gateway should work but I can't say I really recommend it for this scenario.

Note: The Grandstream HT801 is an FXS and not an FXO.

What you might opt for instead is reaching out to your provider and ask if registering the DIDs on your PBX instead of the modem is a possibility. That said, we can't really guarantee normal functionality with other SIP Providers other than the 3CX supported SIP Providers that have been thoroughly tested with 3CX and for which we have ready-to-use configuration templates that will make setting up and maintaining a breeze. If you do decide going with the FXO solution, I strongly recommend that, if possible of course, you test it on your setup before committing to a purchase.
