Hello,

is there a way to generate a mail from a missed call? The customer knows this feature from his old CTI-Software. So a call arrives at central telepohone because the dialed personed is not there, the receptionist gets the call and answers it. The 3cx knows who was dialed and knows his oder her mail, so generating a mail and showing it to the receptionist will be easy... The receptionist then adds the information from the call and the person who has dialed originally gets all the information...

Thanks for your help

It does it already?

I cannot find this feature...

Maybe it is not clear what i want, so in steps:

1. Customer Bob is dialing 210 (Billy) but billy is away
2. After 20 Seconds the call is transfered to Gaby (receptionist)
3. She answers the call "Billy is not in the office, should i give him a message?"
4 She clicks on "Send notification for call" and a mail appears on her screen, the "to-field" is filled wiht Billys Mail, the mail text is prewpared with all information:
"Missed call from +4956187516
Name: Bob
Message: "
5. Gaby adds the missing information and sends the mail to Billy...

I know this can be handled with personal mailboxes, too. But often it is better for the customer to talk to a real person, so if the problem is urgent, the recpetionist can transfer the call to another person etc..

Thanks

What was your old system if you don't mind me asking? This feature would make 3CX so good for our receptionist as well. Upvote

Hello,
the old system was Xphone from C4B, started as a classic CTI Software over CSTA and now more and more integration Voice features in their clients, but it is not a Telephone-system like 3cx is, it is a add-on for a telephone system
