Generic IP Phone - Caller name is showing as SIP ID

On V20, I'm testing a few generic IP phones and when calling others, the display name does not show, instead the sip ID is showing. Everything show correctly in v18. Any ideas?

Likely you need to correct the programming on your SIP Phone - you likely have the Auth ID in the wrong field.

Here are the fields I can configure. The sip ID is entered into the Endpoint ID field. Again, the name shows up correctly on v18. Once upgraded to v20, the sip ID shows up as the callers name on internal calls.

You are taking the authentication from the EndpointID, maybe you should check from there.

The endpoint ID is the SIP Auth ID. If I change the Auth ID in 3cx to a persons name then that is what shows up on the phone.

This is not something that we can troubleshoot.
Maybe you need to check further with the vendor.
