get a dial tone instead of digital receptionist

i 'm setting up a venus 2908 fxs/fxo on 3cx and the auto answer just plays a dial tone after 2 rings and i have to enter the extension manually is there any way i can set it up to automaticaly go to extention #800 /receptionist ? please let me have the answer asap

It sounds like the device you are using, I'm not familiar with it, is set for "two stage dialing", needs to be changed to one stage dialing. Incoming calls on an FXO has to to "speed dial" the 1000X trunk number in 3CX

actually it answers the incoming calls with the dial tone not the outgoing so please let me know if there is any thing i can do about it ...

well it seems all i had to do was to set 800 (my digital receptionist extension) as my hot line number and set 0 as my hotline time out so if any one else had this trouble tis is all you have to do
