Get Audio Recordings URL from 3CX into CRM

[Kyle LI]

Hi there,
I've checked this forum https://www.3cx.com/community/threads/get-audio-recordings-from-3cx-into-crm.67146/ before I'd like to ask some question.
Since any API we can't fetch, is it available to get audio recordings URL which make anyone link in a website or any other method can listen audio recordings as well?

Thanks in advance.

As mentioned in the thread you linked, there is no API to get call recordings from 3CX.

However, this is a valid approach proposed by a 3CX user to achieve it:

So you might want to do the same creating a PHP or similar page...

Thanks a bunch for your help! However, did I turn recording URL into like Https or Http type, didn't I? Because I knew it couldn't transfer the recording to Zendesk.

Or should I develop PHP programming to fetch recording? Then, I give some direction to let me write these code.
Thanks in advance!

Yes, the idea is that you create a PHP page running in the 3CX server (PHP or in any other language of your choice), so this page can provide you a recording when you pass the call details as parameters. Then, you can use a link to this PHP page in your CRM, so when you click, you go to the 3CX server and get the WAV file.

We don't have documentation on this, as that would be an external addition and not part of 3CX. Maybe you can contact @bramvandeperre who did this in his installation.
