Sure, the app is comming on very well. Below a small impression of the current inhouse version.
Important for you is to be ready to upgrade to v16 U5 once we will release. The Testflight (Beta Channel) version will requier this version in order to operate!

Any ETA? Network change dropouts on iPhone have stalled us releasing this app to our users.

Make sure you guys are on test-flight because this is coming really soon..
And we are going to need testers... especially with the networking and connect side of the app.
First we need to wait for update 5 to be out because there are some things that require server changes. Bear with is just a little while longer.

I'll have fun on the networking side! I keep going from Wi-Fi to LTE back and forth.

Can you verify that I am still in the TestFlight list? :)

I guess I better upgrade my OS... On 2012 Essentials right now.

Can you add me to TestFlight Beta? Thanks!

I'm also interested in the testflight beta. Thanks !

Testflight me please!

Any updates? We would be glad to test. Frankly, we have people in house asking to start looking at other systems because of the long standing unresolved issues, many regarding the iphone app.

The beta has been released and you can get some users on the Test Flight to give it a go, but you must be on v16 update 5, which is currently alpha2 status. We are running it on our system and one client with no known issues so far. See https://www.3cx.com/blog/releases/e911-pbx-update-5-alpha/ more more info.

See https://www.3cx.com/blog/releases/3cx-ios-app-swift/ for more info about the beta for the iOS app.

The public TestFlight link is https://testflight.apple.com/join/5MPjSs2T

Good luck!

No known issue??? What did you test? There are plenty of bugs which i have already sent to 3cx via testflight. If you are using your PBX in a production environment i suggest TO NOT UPGRADE. I am using the beta test version just to discovery bugs and send to 3cx.

I was only speaking of our experience with v16 update 5. We are not pushing this out to clients yet, it is in beta. But, we are using it in-house ourselves with no issues. We have one client that had an immediate need for the new 911 options, and that is working fine.

There are certainly some issues with the iOS beta. On one of our test phones when the screen is locked it rings once and stops, but if the screen is unlocked it rings as expected.

Thanks for getting the clarification.

ok but if the screen is locked and you cannot answer the phone is a very big problem. From what you have written i understood that the app was working as expected which is not. I have discovered more than 5 bugs.
Thinking positive I really like the new look and feel and the app is really fast (finally) but it is impossible to use in production. There are features which i was able to use which right now doesn't work.

Agreed - I went back to the non-beta app on my cell phone and will keep the beta on my test devices. The public version app will still work on v16u5. Normal users will not see the beta as you have to go through the testflight process to get the beta. Again, yes, this is not supposed to be run in a production environment - but for our in-house system it was worth doing.

Paolo, Apple kept iOS13.0 in 8 (eight) betas, plus 2 betas of iOS13.1 before the official release. The sole purpose of a beta is to find and fix bugs and do tuning, it's not intended "for production". People didn't had automatic install for iOS13 beta; they had, on their own will, to go and subscribe to Apple beta program in order to install it on their devices. The same with TestFlight - nobody forced you to subscribe, did they? If an application - be either iOS or 3CX client - would be bug-proof, there would be absolutely no reason for such beta-programs to exist. If me I'm subscribing to a beta program, I'm sending them reports about bugs, not complaints about those bugs.

Yes I am not saying that there is problems to have bug in the beta . I am just saying that the beta has bugs so if you don’t want bugs don’t install betas. You should say that to the others not to me. I am working to find bugs inside the betas so when the software will reach the official release there are no bugs anymore. If you read the post accentlogic you think that the beta version is ok as it is so it should pass to the final stage but this is not . If no one is saying that there are bugs this is the real problem of the beta tester program. I am a beta tester so I am just reporting what is not working and this is my rule, nothing more .
